HixCaps®20

HixCaps®20, the filter capsules with an area of 20 cm2 have a much higher performance than the general filters. They are suitable for the filtration of ventilated, gaseous and organic solutions In sterile or non-sterile presentations in packages of 25 or 100 units.

Cleaning
The filter meets USP requirements for injection particulates and 21 CFR 210.3 (b) (6) criteria for “fiber-free release”.

Sterilization
Autoclave: at 134 °C, 30 min, 2 bar, min. 15 cycles

Bacterial retention
LRV ≥ 7 for bacterial challenge according to ASTM F 838-05. Brevundimonas diminuta is 0.22 μm. Serratia marcescens is 0.45 μm.
